How To Feel Motivated To Wake Up Early

Waking up early is hard. Especially if you had a long day before that, or you just simply went to bed at 2:00 AM. But if you get yourself into a habit that even I struggle with but is totally worth it, it could help your health and happiness. Just talking from experience it seriously does help.


So if you're feeling like there's not much to get you up in the morning besides school or work, just keep on reading.


So one of the ways that could get you motivated is if you give yourself something to look forward to in the morning.

For example, a nice breakfast with your fave food, an activity before all the responsibility's, or just playing with your dog. (If you have one that is)

And don't have an annoying alarm sound like a buzzer or radar. Put maybe a fun song from iTunes on there that wakes you up.

And if you barely eat breakfast cause "you don't have time", eat that breakfast. Breakfast is really important because it wakes you up more than just getting enough sleep. It's what gives you energy to do different things during the day.


Snooze button. Always keep the snooze option off. Cause believe it or not, when your alarm goes off and you press "snooze" and you sleep for 10 more minutes or whatever, it makes more tired than doing something like working out. so don't make yourself more tired. Just get up and stretch a little.


Also when you wake up, why not open the curtains to let in that morning light? That's another part of the morning that will wake you up and make you happy that there's light on your tired face.

And if it's cloudy, all the better.

So plan a nice meal, set a nice a nice song to wake up to, maybe set out your clothes the night before just so you feel even more ready, maybe journal or watch some Netflix, or whatever relaxes you before responsibility's just to get the day going with some relaxation and fun.
